Recording recovery
Recover video after an interrupted recording
If your computer loses power or shuts down unexpectedly while recording, 7net Recorder can detect the unfinished session when you reopen the app.
Reopen 7net Recorder
Launch the app again after your computer is running normally.
Select Recover video
When an unfinished recording is detected, the Recover video button becomes available.
Wait for recovery to finish
7net Recorder processes the interrupted recording data.
Find your recovered video
The recovered video is saved to your video folder.
Note: The Recover video button is available only when 7net Recorder detects an unfinished recording.

Is 7net Recorder free?
Yes. 7net Recorder is free to download and use for desktop screen recording on Windows, Ubuntu Linux and macOS.

Can it record system audio and microphone together?
Yes. You can enable system audio and microphone recording at the same time and monitor their audio levels before you start recording.
Can I include my webcam in a screen recording?
Yes. Enable the webcam source and select the camera you want to use before starting your recording.
Where are my recordings saved?
Recordings are saved as MP4 videos in the output folder you choose. You can change the folder in the Storage settings.
Does it upload my recordings?
The normal recording workflow saves videos locally to your selected output folder. Uploading to an online recording service is not required.
Can I change the interface theme?
Yes. You can switch between 7net Blue, Dark and Light themes while keeping the same recording controls and settings layout.
Which interface languages are available?
7net Recorder supports 20 interface languages: English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Indonesian, Hindi, Arabic, Dutch, Italian, Swedish, Polish, Turkish and Thai.
What keyboard shortcuts are available?
Use F7 to start or stop recording and F8 to pause or resume the current recording.
Can 7net Recorder recover an interrupted recording?
Yes. If recording is interrupted by a power outage or unexpected computer shutdown, reopen 7net Recorder. When an unfinished recording is detected, the Recover video button becomes available. Select it, wait for recovery to finish, and the video will be saved to your video folder.
